GREAT NEWS!
Thanks to our generous participants at November’s Shops at Wiregrass FREE Cruise-In, we took in 765 pounds of non-perishable food items for Metropolitan Ministries’ Food Bank. As many of you all know, all the area food banks are being overwhelmed by increasing requests for food items by families hard hit by the recession. The amount of food our participants brought was wonderful…. but it gets even better….

In a BOGO “copy cat” scenario – private funding is MATCHING, pound for pound, food items donated to Metropolitan Ministries – which DOUBLES the 765 pounds of food you all so kindly brought to the Wiregrass Cruise-In in November.
We at Premium Productions are grateful to all of our Participants for allowing us the privilege of delivering these donations to Metropolitan and witnessing first hand the smiles when their crew begins unloading bags and bags of food.
Premium awarded six specialty trophies PLUS Top Fifty trophies as well, our judges PICKED 56 vehicles for a variety of reasons: originality, eye-appeal, “reminded me of my dad’s car”, “always wanted one of those when I was a teen”, or “I like the way that car looks today” – Just like most cruise-ins work.
Again, thank you all so much for your kindness during the beginning of the Holiday Season.
Here’s the receipt for the donations received by Metropolitan Ministries, in addition to actual food donations, there’s also a notation for $103.00 in cash as well. Metropolitan can stretch these dollars much further than we can, and in the direction they need it as well.
